Braj Geo Space Archaeology Project

Ancient groves and sacred kunds are turning into dumping grounds.

Uncontrolled pollution threatens Govardhan Hill and Radha Kund.

Indifference and development risk erasing centuries‑old traditions and ecosystems.
Krishna's Sacred Land is Calling for Your Help
For 1,500 years, wave after wave of invaders tried to erase Krishna's land. Today, the danger has returned — not with swords, but with neglect, pollution, and forgetfulness.
Braj once echoed with divine music — the laughter of cowherd boys, the flute of Krishna, the songs of gopīs, the rustle of sacred groves. Now, that sound is being silenced.
- Over 1,000 kunds once existed in Braj — now most are silted, encroached, or gone.
- The sacred forests of Nidhivan, Talvan, and Madhuvan are shrinking each year.
- The Yamuna, once flowing like liquid silver, is now one of India’s most polluted rivers.
- Hundreds of small shrines — where Krishna’s divine play unfolded — are abandoned.
This is not just environmental loss. It’s the slow erasure of Krishna’s living history. And the time to act is now.

We are launching the Braj Heritage Mapping & Restoration Project
Historika Foundations, led by historian Chandru Ramesh, is launching a sacred seva — the Braj Heritage Mapping & Restoration Project. Just as the Six Goswāmīs once revived Vrindavan, today we rise to protect, document, and digitally preserve Krishna's līlā‑sthalis.

Using LiDAR, drones, and GIS — so no sacred site remains lost.

Restoring the natural sanctity of Braj’s water bodies and forests.

Combining devotion with modern skills for heritage preservation.

Preserving the crafts and culture of Krishna’s time.

Allowing devotees worldwide to connect with Krishna’s land.
